I am very happy with my position at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, but unfortunately the timing conflicts do not allow me to take any Chinese Language courses. I am already 33 years old and many of the programs become closed to me at 35.
Zhengzhou University is well renowned for its high reputation and cultural significance in the area. As someone who has deep interest in China's history it would please me greatly to study in the Chinese heartland.
My goal here is to attain my MA in Chinese History, but my slow acquisition of the Chinese language has made this dream difficult to reach. I learn best when in a classroom, I've come to find.
While it pains me to leave such a venerable institution as JUFE, I must move towards my objectives before it becomes too late for me.- 3 months ago
